As the crisp autumn breeze sweeps through the streets of Stone County, a unique tradition brings the community together in a delightful, artistic celebration—the annual Scarecrow Convention. This beloved event, which began in 2010 thanks to the creative efforts of the Pine Hill Ladies in Wiggins, has grown into a highly anticipated festival that allows businesses, schools, churches, families and organizations to showcase their own imaginative fall-themed scarecrow displays.

Stone County Christmas Parade

The Stone County Annual Christmas Parade is a cherished holiday tradition that brings the community together in the heart of downtown Wiggins. Each December, families line the streets to watch colorful floats, marching bands, and twinkling lights fill the night with festive cheer. Local schools, businesses, and organizations join in the fun, spreading joy and holiday spirit to all ages. With Santa Claus making his grand appearance to close the parade, it’s a magical event that captures the warmth and togetherness of Christmas in Stone County.
